SMS Messaging Program
Last updated: August 21, 2026
Goodsite, operated by The Corner AI LLC, lets small-business owners manage their website by text. This page describes that messaging program in full: who receives messages, how they opt in, what they receive, and how to stop.
Program name and purpose
Goodsite website support. Customer care messaging for Goodsite account holders and the editors they authorize. It is a two-way conversation: the customer texts a change they want made to their website, and we reply. We do not send marketing or promotional messages on this program.
How customers opt in
Opt-in always happens on the same web form, and the person whose number it is always completes it themselves. They enter the mobile number and tick a consent box that sits separately from every other field and is unticked by default. The number cannot be saved unless that box is ticked.
There are two ways to reach that form:
- From the dashboard. A signed-in customer goes to Dashboard → Channels and adds their own number.
- From an invite link. If an account owner wants a colleague to be able to edit the site by text, we give the owner a link to pass on. The colleague opens it and gives their own consent on the same form. We never text a number to ask for permission to text it.
There is no other way to join the program: we do not collect numbers by phone, in person, from purchased lists, or by text-to-join.
The exact wording shown beside the checkbox:“I agree to receive SMS/text messages from Goodsite at the number above — replies to the website edits I text in, questions needed to complete a change, confirmations when a change is live, and account or billing alerts. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. See our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.”
Optional. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase — you can use every part of Goodsite through the dashboard and email without enabling SMS.
We store a record of every opt-in: the mobile number, the date and time, the exact wording shown above, and the originating IP address.
The opt-in form
The form sits behind a customer login, so it is reproduced here:

What we send
- Replies to the website edits a customer texts in, including a link to preview the change.
- Questions we need answered before we can complete a requested change.
- Confirmation, with a link, once a change is live.
- Account notifications tied to the customer's own activity — an editor being added, or an upcoming plan renewal.
Example: “Goodsite: Your changes are now live at https://[yoursite].goodsite.io Text me anytime to make another edit. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.”
Message frequency, rates, and carriers
- Message frequency varies and depends on how often the customer texts us and on activity in their account.
- Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier rates apply to every message sent and received; Goodsite charges no separate fee for text messages.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Not all carriers or devices are supported.
How to stop, or get help
Reply STOP to any message to opt out immediately. We send one confirmation and then stop texting that number. Reply START to resubscribe, or HELP for help. You can also email support@goodsite.io to have a number removed. Opting out of texts does not cancel a Goodsite subscription or stop email notifications.
Privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Full detail is in our Privacy Policy (Section 3) and Terms of Service (Section 5).
