Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using Goodsite, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@goodsite.io if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

• Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) via Stripe.
• You authorize us to charge your payment method at the start of each billing cycle.
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our refund policy.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Publish content that is defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
• Distribute malware, spam, or unsolicited communications.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's account.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code from the Service.
• Use automated tools to scrape or overload our infrastructure without our written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

You retain ownership of all content (text, images, business information) you upload or provide to the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service on your behalf.

You are solely responsible for ensuring Your Content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Goodsite and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or trade names without our prior written consent.

The Service integrates with third-party providers including Google, Stripe, and others. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or actions of any third-party service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GOODSITE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Goodsite and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.

You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service, with reasonable notice where practicable.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain your data for up to 30 days after cancellation before deletion, except where retention is required by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for intellectual property violations.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
